The Fire Fighting and Fire Detection Design Course is engineered to train students and professionals in comprehensive life safety and active fire suppression design for commercial, industrial, high-rise residential, and institutional buildings conforming to NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and National Building Code of India (NBC 2016 Part 4).
Participants master building hazard categorization, automatic fire sprinkler layout and hydraulic density calculations, internal/external fire hydrants, landing valves, fire water storage capacity sizing, main/jockey/diesel pump head calculations, clean agent gas suppression (FM-200 / Novec 1230), and conventional/addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP).
Light, Ordinary, Extra Hazard & NFPA 13/14 compliance rules.
K-Factor discharge, area of operation & pipe branch sizing.
NFPA 20 pump head, GPM flow, Jockey & Diesel generator pumps.
Smoke/heat detector loops, FACP panels & FM-200 flooding.
