ELECTRICAL DESIGN COURSE

Power & Low Voltage (ELV) Systems

ELECTRICAL DESIGN & DRAFTING COURSE

Duration: 2 - 3 Months (75 Hours) Mode: Classroom & Live Online Eligibility: Electrical / EEE Engineers & Diploma Certification: NEC, NBC & IEEE Standards

Course Overview

The Electrical Design Course at TMD Infra prepares engineers for high-growth roles in power distribution, substation engineering, building electrification, and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.

The curriculum adheres to the National Electrical Code of India (NEC), Indian Electricity Rules (IE Rules), NBC 2016, and IEEE/IEC guidelines. Learners gain mastery over connected load schedules, diversity factors, transformer & diesel generator (DG) sizing, fault level short-circuit calculations, voltage drop, cable tray sizing, capacitor power factor correction, earthing, lightning protection, DIALux lighting lux simulations, and Single Line Diagram (SLD) preparation.

What You Will Learn

Substation & Transformer

HT/LT switchgear, transformer sizing & DG synchronization.

DIALux Lighting Design

Lux calculations, luminaire selection & energy compliance.

Cable & Tray Sizing

Derating factors, voltage drop & short circuit fault levels.

Earthing & Lightning (IS 3043)

Chemical earthing pits, touch/step voltage & ESE arrestors.
